Alessandro Ludovico is a media critic. Since 1993 he has been the editorial director of Neural magazine. He has published several essays on digital culture and has also co-edited the Mag.Net Reader. Alessandro is one of the founding contributors of the Nettime community and also one of the founders of the Mag.Net organisation (Electronic Cultural Publishers). He teaches at the Academy of Art in Carrara, Italy, and was until recently a research fellow at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam.

Für all jene, die sich für Markus' Vortrag nächste Woche vorbereiten wollen habe ich ein ein verhältnismäßig gut verständliches, (englisches) Video zu Drupal 8 gefunden.

The workshop Cryptography for Postcards introduces the basic principles
of cryptography and cryptoanalysis with collaboratively created handmade
ciphers and postcards.

Wie in meinem Blogbeitrag am 21.09.2012 Auf der Suche nach einer Alternative zu Google-Docs. Das Online Office? handelt es sich bei EditGrid zwar um eine Alternative zu GoogleDocs, aber im Endeffekt könnte man auch sagen, just an other Service. Schliesslich war diese Software ja auch nicht als "Open Source" Variante gelaunched worden, sondern eben nur als alternatives Online-Service nutzbar.
