Association's board:

Aileen Derieg (Chairperson)
From 1994 until her retirement in 2008, she worked as a translator specializing in contemporary and media art, technology, social criticism theory, and philosophy. She has been involved in the Eclectic Tech Carnival Community for 20 years and co-organized the Eclectic Tech Carnival 2007 in Linz. She has been in contact with servus.at since the 1990s and has been an active member since 2012. She organizes and holds workshops, regularly offers informal tech support, and can't resist promoting free software and non-commercial alternatives.

Uschi Reiter (Vice Chairperson)
She studied visual media design at the University of Art and Design Linz and she has been working and collaborating with various groups and artists since 1998. From 2005 to 2017, she directed servus.at and developed the organization and numerous projects dealing with current issues and alternatives in the context of technological progress. She is also the founder and developer of the community event AMRO (Art Meets Radical Openness).
 
Peter Wagenhuber (Secretery)
He studies computer science at Kepler University in Linz. He is interested in new technologies and their impact on society. From 2005 onwards, he was able to develop into a computer science specialist thanks to the open access to knowledge provided by the free Linux operating system, and worked operationally on the further development of the association until 2015. He teaches at HTL Traun.
 
Gottfried Gaisbauer (Vice Secretary)
He is a tech-savvy net activist and worked for the association from 2015 to 2019. In this role, he implemented numerous software projects for the servus community and was involved in various artistic projects.

Markus Panholzer (Cashier)
Markus Panholzer is a web developer and has specialized in the Drupal content management system as part of his work for the association. He was head of the association until 2005 and has been active in the association on a voluntary basis ever since.

Thomas Warwaris (Vice Cashier)
Thomas is an expert in IT and IT security. He has around 30 years of experience in various projects and was one of the driving forces behind Linuxwochen in Linz until 2005. He is self-employed in the field of IT consulting and product development. He supports servus.at in an advisory capacity with his expertise.
