Am 11.04.2011 feierte Linz im Wissensturm mit seiner Auftaktveranstaltung „Open Commons Region Linz“ den Einstieg in das neue Zeitalter des freien Zugangs zu Wissen und Software.
Dass unsere Gesellschaft schon seit ca. 1994 in einer solchen Zeit lebt ist nebensächlich, weil es darum geht die Vorteile des Zugangs zu freiem Wissen, Daten und Software auch jenen zu vermitteln, die keine ExpertInnen sind.
